Whatever

Red
Riding Hood
Is
special
We
are seldom far apart
With
our German motorcycles
And
their left-hand side kick start
We
prefer them to the British
With
their styling and their class
Plus
their German engineering
That
no one else can surpass
We
live in a country cottage
It’s
the place we like to be
Away
from the big cities
That
are full of misery
We
still travel to the village
Not
on horses like of old
But
on Horex motorcycles
That
some dealer to us sold

Red
Riding Hood
Is
special
If
you don’t care for her name
Then
go buy yourself a Honda
(All
their stuff is much the same)
Never
mind about tradition
It’s
an easy thing to lose
Now
that natural selection
Gives
us rubbish to peruse
In
the age of competition
There
are cities to complete
And
more forests to be ruined
Since
you can’t beat sugar beet
Are
not motorcycles dangerous
Unlike
massive SUV’s?
Or
are they just as lethal
But
to others if you please?

Red
Riding Hood
Is
special
She’s
the only one for me
With
tradition and the Horex
Close
to where we want to be
Free
of modern engineering
That
to us is obscene
With
its obvious intention
To
make us serve the machine
So
where does all this leave us?
Well
I’m really not that sure
With
tradition disappearing
And
the ever threat of war
But
the people of the cities
May
still wake up as of yet
To
discover that the Horex
Was
indeed a better bet

Red
Riding Hood
Is
special
She
has nature in her heart
And
a German motorcycle
That
has yet to fall apart
Well
tradition is worth saving
Having
passed the test of time
And
when it has been inspired
We
inherit the sublime
Okay
I’m running over
It’s
my passion I suppose
For
the treasures of tradition
It’s
my most important mission
I
don’t need to have permission
For
the thoughts that I expose
Even
though they appear dormant
Unlike
Darwin’s main achievement
He
deserves my own endorsement
Bearer
of the plastic rose
The
End
