It is hard to find a dragon

That is doing well today

Since losing so many forests

Where they like to hide away

From the hunters that attack them

With their rifles when they can

Just to honour some old ritual

Or be part of some mad plan

And the best trees of the forest

And the world belongs to hunters

Dreaming of the days when they

Had dragons they could aim at

And not hens that will not lay
